Saturday 4^th July 2009 (6.00^pm to 8.00^pm) has now been confirmed as the date of this years Mayor’s Sponsored Swim.

Elmbridge Phoenix Swimming Club is delighted to be organising this year’s Mayor of Elmbridge Sponsored Swim to raise funds for both of the Mayor’s chosen charities which this year are Parkinson's UK and The Mayor of Elmbridge Trust Fund as well as ELMBRIDGE PHOENIX S.C.

The Sponsored Swim will take place on Saturday 3^rd July 2010 starting at 6.00^pm and finishing at 8.00^pm. There will be a fun relay obstacle race to start the proceedings. This will involve teams of four swimmers so start to gather your mates now!

The Sponsored Swim is one of the most important dates in our swimming calendar and as such your participation is expected and will be greatly appreciated. Funds received from the sponsored swim will be used for the purchase of equipment and the reduction of running costs for the Club. This helps to keep membership fees to a minimum.

Please complete the entry form and return it to me as soon as possible. Bring the sponsorship form on the day.

The event is also open to family and friends. Entry forms to me please.

I would also need volunteers to help poolside, counting swimmers lengths. If any parents or carers would be willing to help please contact me.

After the swim we will be having a game of rounders on the green at the rear of the pool. Bring a picnic if you wish.
