The Club has recently purchased an SD Video Camera for use by the coaching staff during training sessions. The camera will be used, on an ad hoc basis (at Excel, Hurst or Aldershot) to enhance the coaching capabilities, by recording individual swimmers techniques and immediately playing the captured image back to them. Firstly this will enable the swimmer to see their technique (which is often different to how they believe it to be) and secondly to enable the coach to more easily point out exactly where the individuals could improve. The images will be erased, on poolside, before or at the end of each session. No images will be kept.
